This year’s participants of the Summer School on European Integration are pupils of 2nd and 3rd grades of secondary vocational schools specialising in tourism and economics from ten Croatian counties. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in lectures and workshops and learn about the history of the European Union, its institutions and the decision-making process, Union policies and their implementation, the enlargement process, assistance programmes and projects and the accession process for membership of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union, as well as about concrete experiences of European union membership that will be presented by the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Croatia, Peter Gvorkos.

This year’s Summer School, which has been organised for the seventh time, includes a visit to the Euro Info Point of the County of Istria and workshops for teachers on the possibilities for participation in European Union programmes intended for schools and young people that will be presented by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes.
