During the plenary session of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs at Summit EU-LAC, participants discussed social inclusion, new technologies and sustainable development, that is, problems of environmental protection, climatic changes and energy. They also analysed results achieved within the framework of the EU-LAC strategic partnership and expressed mutual support to continuous and intensified co–operation.

The Republic of Croatia, as an active factor of multilateral activity and future EU member state, supports the continuation of the dialogue with the countries of Latin America and Caribbean which should lead towards a new phase of bi–regional partnership through innovations and sustainable development technology, as well as social inclusion.
