Permanent Representative to CoE Bučan signed European Convention for Protection of Audiovisual Heritage, handed ratification document for Second Additional Protocol to European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters
Permanent Representative of the Republic of Croatia to the Council of Europe Daniel Bučan signed on 28 March 2007, on behalf of the Croatian Government, the European Convention for the Protection of Audiovisual Heritage and handed the ratification document for the Second Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters
The European Convention for the Protection of Audiovisual Heritage obligates the storage of produced and co-produced audiovisual material, its systematic archiving, and accessibility for the public, as well as the academic and scientific circles.
The Second Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters attempts to improve countries’ ability to react to cross-border crime in view of the global political, social and technological development by expanding the spectrum of the situations in which mutual assistance can be requested and enabling a faster and more flexible assistance, taking into account the need for the protection of individual rights, in the processing of personal data.
