Protocol on Co-operation between Luxembourgian and Croatian Government on Mine Clearance in Nova Derenčina and Petrinja signed by Croatian Ambassador to Belgium Ljerka Alajbeg and Luxembourgian Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn
Protocol on Co-operation between the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on Mine Clearance in Nova Derenčina and Petrinja region of the Sisačko-moslavačka County was signed today, 21 December 2006, in Luxembourg by Croatian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium Ljerka Alajbeg and Luxembourgian Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn
Pursuant to the Protocol, the Luxembourgian Government has donated € 300,000 to the Croatian Mine Clearance Center for mine clearance project Nova Derenčina – agricultural area.
Since 2002, the Luxembourgian Government has financed seven mine clearance projects in the Republic of Croatia totalling € 950,000.
