10th political consultations with Chile

State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić on Thursday held political consultations with Chilean Deputy Foreign Minister Gloria de la Fuente.
 
The two officials agreed that the consultations affirmed the traditional friendship and very good bilateral relations between Croatia and Chile, augmented by the large Croat expat community in Chile.
 
They exchanged views on the bilateral and multilateral topics of mutual interest as well as on foreign policy topics of international and regional importance, including Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, energy crisis, climate change and the situation in Southeast Europe and South America.
 
Matušić and de la Fuente underscored the importance of advancing Croatia-Chile relations and expressed readiness to continue cooperating in areas of mutual interest and to promote the friendship and partnership between the Croatian and Chilean peoples.
