Celebration of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia in the Council of Europe, Strasbourg

The Permanent Representation of the Republic of Croatia to the Council of Europe organized a celebration on the occasion of Croatian Statehood Day at the Council of Europe Palais in Strasbourg on May 26th, 2025.

The celebration was attended by numerous ambassadors and foreign diplomats, officials and employees of the Council of Europe, as well as members of the Croatian community in Strasbourg. Following an address by the Permanent Representative/Ambassador Toma Gall, in which he recalled the long and rich history of Croatia and Croatians, as well as the country's successful present and promising future, a concert was performed by Sandra Halužan's quartet. The extraordinary performances of Croatian and European anthems, as well as traditional songs from the Zagorje region, were warmly welcomed and appreciated by the distinguished guests (approximately 120 attendees), after which the guests were served top-quality Croatian wines and culinary specialties.

The concert was organized in cooperation with Sector for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.
