Permanent Representation of the Republic of Croatia to the Council of Europe held a reception which celebrated National Day (25 June).
The reception gathered many distinguished guests, including Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland, President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities Keith Whitmore, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe Maud de Boer-Buquicchio, diplomatic representatives of Member States of the Council of Europe, representatives of the City of Strasbourg and the Department of Bas-Rhin and other representatives of political, social, religious and cultural life in Strasbourg, as well as Croatian citizens from Strasbourg and its surroundings. The reception was also attended by members of the Delegation of Croatian Parliament to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
The guests were welcomed by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Croatia to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Anica Djamic.
