A delegation of the Council of Europe’s European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) is visiting Croatia 20-23 September 2004. The purpose of the visit is to gather information about the Croatian government’s efforts in fighting racism and other forms of intolerance. Members of the delegation were received at the Croatian MFA by Assistant Foreign Minister Damir Kušen.
A delegation of the Council of Europe’s European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) is visiting Croatia 20-23 September 2004. The purpose of the visit is to gather information about the Croatian government’s efforts in fighting racism and other forms of intolerance. Members of the delegation were received at the Croatian MFA by Assistant Foreign Minister Damir Kušen.
Assistant Foreign Minister Kušen informed the members of the delegation about the status and implementation of international documents in Croatia, as well as about Croatia’s efforts in fighting racism and other forms of intolerance. Kušen aslo familiarised the members of the delegation with the harmonisation of the Croatian legislature with the EU standards and Croatia’s co-operation with the International Criminal Tribunal in the Hague.
The Delegation of the Council of Europe’s European Commission against Racism and Intolerance is gathering information about the progress Croatia has made after the Commission’s report written after its first visit to Croatia 4 years ago.
