Government of the Republic of Croatia will host the fifth international conference of senior European and North American leaders and key opinion makers “Croatia Summit 2010 – South East Europe Facing Global Challenges”, in Dubrovnik, from Friday, July 9th to Saturday, July 10th, 2010 (Hotel „Palace“, Masarykov put 20)
The Croatia Summit is an annual international conference held in Dubrovnik, since 2006, which serves as a forum for dialogue between political leaders, and focuses especially on the integration of the South East Europe region into European and transatlantic cooperation structures.
The theme of this year's conference will highlight issues such as economic governance, global security, transatlantic relations, the challenges and strains that the countries of South East Europe are exposed to due to the global economic crisis.
Media coverage of the event will be reserved only for the registered journalists and media representatives. Journalists are kindly requested to fill in the enclosed Registration form and return it by July 2nd 2010 at the latest.

A Press centre will be set up in Hotel “Palace”, Masarykov put 20. Internet access, local phone calls and faxes will be available for the journalists.
Journalists should organize their own accommodation. Accommodation and accommodation expenses will be borne by the journalist. Additional information can be obtained from the Dubrovnik Tourist Board www.tzdubrovnik.hr.
The official language of the Conference is English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Croatian and English languages during the plenary sessions.
Visa requirements: Journalists coming from countries for which visa is required are asked to contact the relevant Croatian Embassy at the earliest opportunity.
