The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration received notification that the Parliament of the Kingdom of Belgium had ratified the Protocol on the NATO Enlargement to the Republic of Croatia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration considers Belgium's ratification an important step forward in the overall process of Croatia's NATO accession, and firmly believes that Croatia is ready to assume a larger responsibility in global relations, taking on a more active role, as well as a more prominent position in the international community.
