The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration received notification on the unanimous confirmation of the Protocol on NATO Enlargement to the Republic of Croatia by the Senate of the Kingdom of Spain.
This completes the procedure of ratifying the Protocol in both houses of the Spanish Parliament, since the House of Representatives ratified it on 3 December 2008.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration sees the ratification as an additional incentive for Croatia on its way to NATO membership.
