General Henault impressed with reforms in Croatia The Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, General Raymond Henault, visited Croatia for three days during which he participated in numerous meetings with the highest ranking political and military officials. He met with the President of the Republic of Croatia, the Minister of Defence, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the President of the Parliamentary Committee for Internal Politics and National Security as well as with the Croatian Chief of Staff. As a result of these meetings, general Henault was impressed by the clarity of the message conveyed as well as the general commitment for continuing the MAP process. He was also convinced that this is a continuous improvement both at the political and the military level and expressed his belief in the continuity of the process. General Henault remarked that Croatia is showing significant leadership qualities in the stability and security domains and serves as a role model to other countries in the region, with Croatian political and military leaders contributing to that overall perception. www.hrvatski-vojnik.hr
