Croatian Ambassador to the North Atlantic Alliance Davor Božinovic handed today, 3 October 2005, his credentials to the Alliance's Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, thus officially assuming the duty of the Croatian Ambassador to NATO.

Croatian Ambassador to the North Atlantic Alliance Davor Božinovic handed today, 3 October 2005, his credentials to the Alliance's Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, thus officially assuming the duty of the Croatian Ambassador to NATO. In a short talk with Secretary General Scheffer, Ambassador Božinovic reiterated that NATO membership is one of Croatia's key foreign policy goals, and pointed out that he will try to actively contribute to its realisation.
