Zagreb Flute Ensemble – ZAF, the only ensemble of this kind in Croatia, from 26 November to 2 December 2013 held concerts in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Skopje, Bitola and Thessaloniki. The Thessaloniki concert, held 30 November at the University Hall, saw the ensemble perform the works of Grieg, Hvoslefa, Grahn, Lindholm and Kuhlaua as well as Croatian authors Kabiljo and Vlahek. Renata Penezic, the ensemble’s artistic director, held a seminar at the invitation of the University of Thessaloniki. The performance in Thessaloniki was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Croatian Embassy in Athens and the Honorary Consulate in Thessaloniki.
