The National Day of the Republic of Croatia celebrated in Armenia with musical performances of Croatian artists

The Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia in Armenia was marked with a concert by soprano Nikolina Pinko and pianist Eva Kirchmayer Bilić on June 11, 2024 at the Komitas Museum in Yerevan. The concert and reception were attended by members of the diplomatic corps in Yerevan, members of the cultural, social and political life of Armenia, including the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan, and other guests. Before the concert, Eva Kirchmayer Bilić gave a presentation on the cultural relations between Croatia and Armenia on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Athens Aleksandar Sunko addressed the audience before the event. The concert and reception were organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Athens and the Croatian Honorary Consul in Yerevan Artashes Kazakhetsyan. On the same occasion, on June 25, 2024, an organ concert by Eva Kirchmayer Bilić and the opera champion of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb Stjepan Franetović was held in the Cathedral of the Holy Virgin in the city of Gyumri. Among others, spiritual works by Alba Vidaković, Anđelko Klobučar, Giuseppe Verdi, Vinko Glasnović, Makar Yekmanlyan were performed. The day before the concert, Croatian musicians Eva Kirchmayer Bilić and Stjepan Franetović met with the mayor of Gyumri Vardges Samsonian.
