In Yerevan, on 20 November 2018, Ambassador Alexander Sunko presented credentials to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian. Following a ceremony, in the presence of the president"s associates and officials of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a tete-a-tete meeting with Sarkissian followed. The President reiterated the invitation to Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, the President of the Republic of Croatia, to visit Armenia.
In an Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on this occasion, Ambassador met with Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian, Deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Hovakimian, EU Department Director Tigran Samvelyan, and Director of International Organization Department Vahram Kazhoyan. The interlocutors expressed great interest in arranging political consultations with the Republic of Croatia in 2019 on bilateral and European issues.
