The delegation of the National Council for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development of the Republic of Croatia during their visit to Indonesia from March 8 – 16, 2018, visited three cities: Yogyakarta (Central Java), Manado (North Sulawesi) and Bandar Lampung (Eastern Sumatra). During their visit they held meetings with relevant representatives from the field of science and technology and with representatives of the local universities.
The Croatian delegation was led by academician Vladimir Bermanec. The topics of the meetings were related to further cooperation in the area of higher education, science and technology; in particular, the exchange of professors / lecturers and students, as well as the facilitation of a number of scholarships, as well as their satisfaction with the cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Indonesia. They also expressed interest in initiating cooperation with the University of Oceanography in Manado in Sea Research.
