Croatian Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandrokovic met his Israeli counterpart Yuli-Yoel Edelstein in Jerusalem on November 25, 2019, at a meeting organized by the Embassy of Croatia in Israel.
The two Speakers of the Parliament confirmed the excellent bilateral relations and stressed the commitment to further strengthen the cooperation in all areas, with particular emphasis on parliamentary cooperation. Croatia is interested in sharing knowledge and experience in the field of innovation, science and high technology, in which Israel is among the leading countries in the world.
Jandrokovic spoke about the preparations and priorities of the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union an invited his Israeli counterpart to an official visit to Croatia. Ambassador Vesela Mrden Korac and First Secretary Lada Curkovic also attended the meeting.
