Deputy Mayor of Rijeka Marko Filipovic visited Israel from 13 to 15 February 2018. He participated at the annual international event on urban and cyber technologies for smart cities - "Muni World 2018" in Tel Aviv.
The event brought together experts, entrepreneurs, representatives of academic community and city authorities and others involved in activities and reflections on key challenges and threats of today in city and wider urban environment. Main topics were: smart cities in the cyber-attack situation, smart start-ups and mayor’s partnerships in dealing with these and other challenges in urban environment.
In addition, Deputy Mayor Filipovic visited Herzliya, a city known for its significant start-up scene, and met with the city"s leadership.
Accompanied by Ms Tina Krce, Chargée d"Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Israel, Deputy Mayor Filipovic visited Yad Vashem - The World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem, and signed in the Guest Book.
