On May 9, 2019, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Independence Day of Israel, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the State of Israel, Vesela Mrden Korac, took part in the ceremonial reception of the President Reuven Rivlin in Jerusalem, for the representatives of the diplomatic corps in Israel, military attachés, leaders of religious communities and other dignitaries.
The audience was addressed by the President Reuven Rivlin and acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Yisrael Katz, both pointing out, among other things, the satisfaction with the outstanding achievements that Israel has achieved in numerous areas during 71 years of its independence.
