At the invitation of Ilan Savir, artistic and general director of the Israel Puppet Center Holon, the City Theatre "Zorin dom" from Karlovac participated at the 21st Puppet Theatre Festival (26 July - 4 August) with the puppet play "The Best Friends". "The Best Friends" is the original play in which puppets - balloons, animated as puppets, tell a story of friendship, loneliness and search of soulmate. It is directed by Peda Gvozdic and Giulio Settimo.
This international festival brings together every year puppeteers from all over the world. The organizers try to present and raise awareness of different, creative puppetry techniques and innovations.
