Croatian Embassy presented Croatian tourism at the International Tourism Fair held in Ottawa from April 28 to 30, 2006.
The Embassy suported the “Globus and Cosmos” touroperator based in Ottawa with the headquarter in Toronto. The exhibition space was decorated with Croatian posters and the broshures form Croatian National Toursim Board were distributed. The Fair was visited by more then 10 000 visitors form Ottawa and the sorunding. More then 20 countries are beeing promoted such as Italy, Austria, Spain, Poland, French, Greece, Turkey, Egipt, Marocco and Tunis.
The Ottawa Fair was held just a few weeks after the International Travel Fair in Toronto (April, 7 to 9, 2006). Croatia was presented in Toronto by the Croatian National Tourism Board, New York Office. More then 1200 citizens of Toronto and sorounding visited show. Mrs Nena Komarica, the General Manager of the Croatian National Tourism Board, Office in New York held numerous meetings with the local travel agencies and media representatives. Croatian Embassy in Ottawa was presented at the show by First Secretary Antun Mahnic.
