Croatian Ambassador to Canada Mrs Vesela Mrden Korac and the President of Croatian Chamber of Economy Mr Nadan Vidoševic participated to the traditional lunch organized in April 21, 2006 by “Empire Club of Canada” in Toronto.
They were accompanied by Mr Ivan Grdelic and Mr Steve Požgaj, the members of the Managing Board of the Croatian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. The main speaker at the lunch was Mr Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada. Mr Harper addressed the audiance and refferd to the main goals of his government.
The “Empire Club of Canada” was established back in 1903 and is recognized as one of the oldest institutions in Canada, whos members are amongs the most respectfull citizens of this country. The Club welcomed more then 2500 guest speakers so far, including the statesmen and the presidents of the most prestigous interenational organizations.
