On the initiation of the Croatian parish priest in Ottawa, Father Adam Tabak, the Ambassador Vesela Mrden Korac and the Croatian community attended the Homelands Mass at the Notre Dame cathedral on January 14, 2007 celebrated by the Archbishop of Ottawa, Most Reverend Marcel Gervais.
Along with other cultural communities, representatives from the Croatian community dressed in their national dress presented a gift to the Archbishop of Ottawa. The Croatian parish priest, Father Adam Tabak, served mass together with the Archbishop, Most Reverend Marcel Gervais. President of Croatoan Folkore Group, Sasa Muradorij, delivered the prayer reading in the Croatian language.
