The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in South Africa, in association with the Cultural Centre Novi Zagreb will be hosting a concert to be presented by two eminent Croatian artists, soprano Mira Vlahovic and organist Edmund Boric-Andler. The concert will be held on 22 February 2008 in Pretoria University's Universiteitsoord Church, corner Duxbury and Herold Roads, Hatfield at 19h00.
The concert will be repeated in the Croatian Catholic Church in Johannesburg on 24 February 2008 after the 10h30 Mass.

Mira Vlahovic, prima donna of the Croatian National Theatre, has during her renowned career performed many roles in the most famous of operas and operettas.
Edmund Boric-Andler, after attaining his Masters Degree from the Music Academy in Zagreb, gained much professional experience in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and France.
The concerts' repertoire includes compositions by composers of the period ranging from the Renaissance through to Baroque and modern times. The pieces for organ or voice and organ were composed by the great classicists such as Bach and Vivaldi, as well as by Croatian composers Ivan Lukacic, Dragutin Gaubi and an anonymous Franciscan monk.
