On the 2nd of December 2019, the new Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Ante Cicvaric, arrived to the Republic of South Africa. Ms Palesa Rachidi, Director (Central Europe) at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa (DIRCO), welcomed the new Ambassador-Designate. The cordial conversation confirmed very good and dynamic relations and high-quality cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of South Africa. Both counterparts expressed wish for further promotion of cooperation and current bilateral relations. In addition to the political dialogue and the desire for a high-level state visit, both sides expressed willingness to intensify economic relations.
