At the invitation from the Hungarian Alliance of South Africa, the Croatian national team took part in a friendly football tournament which was held on Sunday, 8th September 2013, in Midrand near Johannesburg.

At the invitation from the Hungarian Alliance of South Africa, the Croatian national team took part in a friendly football tournament which was held on Sunday, 8th September 2013, in Midrand near Johannesburg.
The second tournament organized by the Hungarian Alliance of South Africa gathered several teams, football enthusiasts, expatriates and diplomats of several countries, living and working in Johannesburg and Pretoria. Croatian team played against the teams of Hungary, Germany, Portugal, Mexico and Jordan. In this excellent and dynamic game, and with the support of the Croatian Embassy in Pretoria, Croatian team successfully achieved third place.
