Croatian Ambassador to South Africa Dr. Nenad Prelog presented his credentials to President of the Republic of Namibia Hifikepunye Pohamba on 26 November 2014 in Windhoek. President Pohamba will end his mandate in the presidential office soon - the inauguration of the newly elected President of Namibia Hage Geingob (former Prime Minister) will be held in March 2015. On 25 November 2014, Ambassador Prelog presented the copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Namibia Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. Minister Nandi-Ndaitwah and Ambassador Prelog underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation, notably in regard to the transfer of knowledge and technology, joint educational projects, tourism, shipbuilding, fishing and Croatian ports.
