Mediterranean Gourmet & Wine Fair was held between 9 and 15 May 2018 at the prestigious Daimaru Tokyo Department Store. Croatia was one of the 11 participating countries at this Fair organised by the Daimaru Department Store with support of Embassies of the participating countries. Croatia was represented at the Fair by a number of importers of Croatian products. The dedicated Croatian products area attracted considerable interest among the fair visitors who had an opportunity to try and buy various Croatian products - Croatian wines, olive oils, truffles from Istria, salt, Vegeta spices, jams and other products.
Ambassador Hrastic visited the Mediterranean Gourmet & Wine Fair on 10 May 2018. During the visit, Ambassador Hrastic met with Japanese importers of Croatian products and representatives of the Daimaru Tokyo Department Store.
