The Split Puppet Theatre took part in the sixth annual Creative Forum for Independent Theatre Groups Europe – Mediterranean in Alexandria.
The Forum, which was held from 1 -10 February, 2009 in Alexandria in Egypt, is an International festival intended to promote cultural differences and exchange of information.
The Split Puppet Theatre has been invited to the Forum by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the International Association for Creation and Training.
The theatre performed the show "Pec Ivo" (Ivo the Biscuit) by Zdenka Mišura, based on a story by Nada Iveljic, on 3 February. The Forum also included workshops, street shows, dance performances, concerts and exhibitions.
