Nine Croatian craftsmen presented their work in Oman at the Muscat Festival 2009 between 19 January and 12 February, 2009.
The visit, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, was the first presentation of Croatian crafts in an Arab country and a step forward in promotion for Croatia's 100,000 craftsmen in a new market.
Also, the delegation from Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts led by Mr. Mato Topic, President of the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts visited Muscat during the Muscat Festival. The visit was an opportunity to promote economic, cultural and political cooperation between Croatia and Oman.
The festival focused on traditional arts, heritage and culture. The Muscat Festival has more than two million visitors from Oman and abroad each year.
