President Mesic expressed his satisfaction over the relaxation of the visa regime that will ultimately lead to strengthening of the economic cooperation between Croatia and Jordan. Croatian President also pointed out possibilities of cooperation in the area of military equipment and in the field of anti-terrorism training.
Discussing the regional crisis that are the cause of the global instability and terrorism, both leaders agreed that the key issue is achieving the just and final settlement to the Palestinian issue in the Middle East. President Mesic also informed King Abdullah II of the recent developments in the Southeast Europe, especially emphasizing the question of declaration of Kosovo independence.
