The delegation of the Zagreb Chamber of Economy arrived to Cairo on 29th of March 2008, upon the invitation of its Egyptian counterpart, Cairo Chamber of Commerce. The visit has been initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Cairo, within the framework of boosting the cooperation between the Zagreb Chamber of Economy and the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.
The delegation of the Zagreb Chamber of Economy arrived to Cairo on 29th of March 2008, upon the invitation of its Egyptian counterpart, Cairo Chamber of Commerce. The visit has been initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Cairo, within the framework of boosting the cooperation between the Zagreb Chamber of Economy and the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.
The Croatian delegation is comprised of company representatives of the most prominent sectors of Croatian Economy such as: oil and gas exploration and production, timber industry, food production, tourism industry, maritime transportation, medical industry, construction, pump production, air conditioning industry, development and maintenance of rolling stock and representatives of banking sector.
During their visit to Egypt, Croatian businessmen held a number of meetings with their Egyptian counterparts. The chairmen of Croatian and Egyptian Chambers, Mr. Zlatan Fröhlich and Mr. Ali Moussa have signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the two Chambers.
After Cairo, Croatian delegation visited Alexandria where it was hosted by the local Chamber of Commerce. Working lunch and the match-making was organized for Croatian business delegation thus enabling each specific business representative to discuss particular points of interest with an Egyptian counterpart.
