Croatian team that competed at the 20th International Olympiad in Informatics held in Cairo from 17th to 21st August 2008 achieved a remarkable result by winning a gold, a silver and two bronze medals.
Goran Žužic, Ivo Sluganovic , Adrijan Satija Kurdija and Zvonimir Bujanovic, all students of Zagreb Fifth Gymnasiumm ranked fifth in the world, winning the total of four medals. In this manner they upheld the tradition of successful appearances at the previous Olympiads in Informatics.
