Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Mr. Luka Bebic, on October 28, 2009 met with President of the Syrian Arab Republic Mr. Bashar Al-Assad, during his official visit to the Republic of Croatia. Two officials negotiated bilateral relations between the two countries and the possibilities of upgrading economical cooperation, specially in the fields of energetics and tourism.
