Croatian Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt Dražen Margeta handed on Tuesday, 6 June 2006, in Amman the originals of his credentials to the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, H. M. Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein, assuming the duty of Croatian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, seated in Cairo.

Ambassador Margeta communicated to H. M. King Abdullah II greetings by Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of the bilateral co-operation, with a hope that the overall relations between the two countries will continue to be enhanced.
