Croatian National Day

National Day of the Republic of Croatia has been observed by diplomatic function at the Four Seasons Hotel at Garden City, Cairo on June 13th 2007. Large number of diplomats, both Egyptian and foreign as well as representatives of Egyptian Government and businessmen attended the event.

National Day of the Republic of Croatia has been observed by diplomatic function at the Four Seasons Hotel at Garden City, Cairo on June 13th 2007. Large number of diplomats, both Egyptian and foreign as well as representatives of Egyptian Government and businessmen attended the event. Most notably, H. E. Dr. Yousry Saber Hussein El-Gamal, Minister of Education of the Arab Republic of Egypt attended the function, engaging in long and friendly interaction with the host, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Egypt H. E. Drazen Margeta. National Day of the Republic of Croatia, locally referred to as the Statehood Day, commemorates historical session of the Croatian Parliament from 25th of June 1991 when decision to proclaim independence from Yugoslavia has been adopted by virtually all the Members of the Parliament.
