The Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Syria H.E. Mr. Dražen Margeta attended the final basketball match of the Syrian basketball championship.
Ambassador Margeta was invited, together with Mr. Amjad Al Rez, Director of the Directorate of Old Damascus, Governorate of Damascus, by the coach of the Aleppo basketball team Mr. Mensur Bajramovic (former basketball player for the Croatian teams from the cities of Rijeka and Osijek).
During the break time Mr. Dražen Margeta, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Syria gave an interview for the Syrian TV station, wherein he shed light on the Croatian Sports in general, especially on basketball and the Croatian famous basketball players in the past such as Krešimir Cosic, Dražen Petrovic, Toni Kukoc, Dino Rada, Stojko Vrankovic and others.
