H.E. President of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Stjepan Mesic, visited Syria from 21-25 December 2008. During his visit, on December 21, 2008 the Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic was signed at the Ministry of Transportation of the Syrian Arab Republic.

During his visit, on December 21, 2008 the Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic was signed at the Ministry of Transportation of the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Agreement signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Minister of Transportation of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Yarob S. Badr, Heads of all Departments at the Ministry of Transportation of the Syrian Arab Republic and media representatives. The Agreement was signed by H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Syrian Arab Republic, seated in Cairo, Mr. Dražen Margeta, and Mr. Mahmoud Zanboua, Deputy Minister of Transportation of the Syrian Arab Republic.
