Croatian-Swedish economic cooperation
1. Trade relations: Up to this date, the trade exchange reached the highest value in 2006: 455 million USD. In 2008 and 2009 the total value of trade exchange was respectively 397 and 240 million USD.
2. Swedish investments in Croatia: In the period from 1993 to September 2009, Swedish investments in Croatia amounted to EUR 210 million. Based on these data, Sweden is ranked as 13th largest investor country in Croatia.
3. Swedish development assistance: Croatia is grateful to Sweden for development assistance, which was provided through SIDA programmes up to 2009, and was primarily aimed to assist Croatia's preparations for EU membership. Total assistance amount for 2005-2008 was 90 million Swedish crowns.
