Croatian-Lithuanian co-operation in the field of culture, science and education
Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on cultural, educational and scientific co-operation was signed on February 20, 2007 (during the official visit of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic to Lithuania).

So far approximately 15 students have been enrolled each year in the two-track study of Latvian philology and Croatian language at the Vilnius University. The students have visited Croatia on repeated occassions and have translated to Lithuanian, with the assistance of their instructors, Croatian renaissance masterpiece - "Judita" by Marko Marulic.
