Croatian Ambassador to the US Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and Assistant Secretary for Policy Stewart Baker at the Department of Homeland Security Stewart Baker signed at the US Department of Homeland Security a statement on the principles of cooperation in advancing the mutual security measures for international travels and the demands of the US Visa Waiver Program between the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia and the US Department of Homeland Security.

Croatian Ambassador to the US Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and Assistant Secretary for Policy Stewart Baker at the Department of Homeland Security Stewart Baker signed at the US Department of Homeland Security a statement on the principles of cooperation in advancing the mutual security measures for international travels and the demands of the US Visa Waiver Program between the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia and the US Department of Homeland Security. Pursuant to the statement, the DHS and other relevant agencies of the US Government intent to assist the Croatian Ministry of Interior and other competent bodies in developing programs, systems, and procedures pertaining to the safety of travel and borders, developing and issuing electronic passports, timely reports on lost and stolen passports, information exchange aimed at improving border security and control, including information about the travellers, in order to enhance the security standards for travel documents. The statement reflects the two countries' wish for facilitating the travel between their respective citizens by strengthening the cooperation in border security and enhancing the international travel security, in accordance with the US Visa Waiver Program demands.
