Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandrokovic met 2 February 2011 in Washington, as part of his working visit to the United States, with Congressman and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe and Eurasia of the US House of Representatives' Committee on Foreign Affairs Dan Burton.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandrokovic met 2 February 2011 in Washington, as part of his working visit to the United States, with Congressman and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe and Eurasia of the US House of Representatives' Committee on Foreign Affairs Dan Burton.
Congratulating Congressman Burton on his 15th congressional term of office and appointment as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe and Eurasia, Minister Jandrokovic also thanked him for his personal engagement and continuous support for the Republic of Croatia.
He informed Congressman Burton about the Croatian Government's measures to improve the business and investment climate, especially for foreign investors.
The meeting also discussed Croatia's progress thus far in terms of satisfying the criteria for joining the US visa exemption program.
Minister Jandrokovic and Congressman Burton also talked about the two countries' cooperation within ISAF.
