Croatian Ambassador in San Francisco, at the Croatian-American Cultural Centre

At the Croatian-American Cultural Centre in San Francisco, on November 14 2009, Croatian Ambassador Kolinda Grabar - Kitarovic participated at the traditional annual dinner and dance. This event held in celebration of the 152nd Anniversary of the founding of the oldest society of Croatian immigrants in the world – Slavonic Mutual and Benevolent Society.

At the Croatian-American Cultural Centre in San Francisco, on November 14 2009, Croatian Ambassador Kolinda Grabar - Kitarovic participated at the traditional annual dinner and dance. This event held in celebration of the 152nd Anniversary of the founding of the oldest society of Croatian immigrants in the world – Slavonic Mutual and Benevolent Society. In her address, Ambassador Grabar - Kitarovic emphasized that effort of our people throughout the world in preserving and promoting Croatian heritage deserve special credit and that this role of the Croatian community will bear immense significance in the future as well. “It is my honest intention to meet with Croatian Americans as frequently as possible, to spend with you as much time as possible, and to work together on further promotion of relations and cooperation between Croatia and the United States”, said Ambassador. Around two hundred Croatian immigrants and their family members were present at this event.
