STATEHOOD DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA CELEBRATED IN TIRANA

On May 27^th 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Tirana celebrated the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia. Traditional sword dance "Moreška" from the city of Korčula was performed on one of the most frequent squares in the centre of Tirana.

The event was attended by numerous guests from the Diplomatic Corps, state institutions and organizations, prominent individuals from all areas of the social life of the Republic of Albania.

Member of the Croatian music society "Saint Cecilia” from the town of Korčula performed the sword dance "Moreška". At the reception that followed on the terrace of the Hotel Mariott in Tirana, members of the St. Cecilia's music orchestra played the Croatian and Albanian national anthems, and the "St. Cecilia" klapa with their outstanding performance presented in the best possible tradition of klapa singing, at the delight of all present guests.
