State Secretary Matušić meets with Albanian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Kodheli

State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić meet with Chair of the Albanian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Mimi Kodheli. The Committee’s delegation was paying a return visit to Croatia.
 
The meeting reaffirmed the very good and friendly relations between Croatia and Albania, with both sides expressing interest in their additional strengthening as well as in the intensification of overall cooperation.
 
The officials discussed the status of the EU enlargement process, as well as Albania’s preparations for accession talks and the reforms underway. The Croatian side underscored the prospect of transferring experiences that would benefit Albania.
 
Conclusively, the officials underlined the need for continued cooperation in the transfer of knowledge and experiences, as well as the need for a more intensive economic cooperation.
