The exhibition prepared jointly by the author and Flora Turner, was opened by HE Mr Joško Paro, Croatian Ambassador. Jacob''s works will remain at the Embassy until 14th January 2005.
"Just as his design work invariably reflects the spirit of place in man''s story, so his landscapes suggest, however subtly, the influence of man on place: the hand upon the land. Brought up in the watercolour tradition, Jasper makes apt use of the way water and acrylic mix, ideal for his subject matter, his beloved Istria. Here he has found a mystical home for his musings on the relationship between man and place." Tony Hodges
