Last night in the Rio cinema hall in London, spouses Anđela and Davor Rostuhar presented their documentary film "Love around the world" to the British audience.
They tried to find out what love means in different parts of the world in 75 minutes of conversations with couples from different cultures. The two Croatian travel writers asked all the interviewees a similar set of questions about how they met, their everyday life and about the challenges they faced.
The film was greeted very warmly by the audience with numerous positive comments and questions that followed the screening of the film.
The Guardian also gave a positive review of the film, stressing that „viewers will understand the universal qualities of so many of the stories, particularly the descriptions of falling in love and trying to live harmoniously over the long term“.
This documentary is a continuation of the project that started with the book of the same name and the series that was shown on numerous televisions.
The London screening of the film was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia Igor Pokaz with his colleagues, the director of the HTZ Office in London Darija Reić and the president of the "British Croatian Chamber of Commerce" Damir Cimer.
After London, the film will be presented in other parts of the United Kingdom during October, and in November a tour is planned in the Republic of Ireland.
