The Croatian Embassy in London participated at the 56th International Spring Fair held on 12th and 13th of May 2015. The Fair was organized by the only non-governmental the UK based charity organization set up specifically to deal with child protection - Children and Families Uniting Across Boarders (CFAB). Likewise, as the Fair has been included into the official diplomatic calendar, it traditionally involves a large number of diplomatic missions based in London selling the products from their countries as to raise funds for promoting the rights and welfare of children around the world.
In addition, the Croatian Embassy in London traditionally participates at this Fair as it is also an opportunity for the promotion of Croatia, its tourism and products onto the British market. Thanks to the regular donations of Croatian company Podravka, the Embassy was able to sell the Croatian food product at its well-visited stand. Again, this year the Embassy provided the first prize, an extended weekend for two at one of the luxury hotels of Jadranka Group at the Island of Lošinj, and distributed a large number of tourist brochure. Behind promoting Croatia, the Croatian stand also provided the significant funds for charity.
