Croatia will be present again this year at the World Travel Market which takes place from 8th until 11th November 2004 at Excel Exhibition Centre in Docklands. World Travel Market is the leading international travel and tourism industry´s dedicated business-to-business event. Croatian National Tourist Board is exhibiting at Stand EM240.
Whilst many of the popular Mediterranean destinations have experienced a downturn in UK visitors, summer 2004 has been yet another "boom" year for Croatia. The number of visitors from the United Kingdom have increased by nearly 40%, compared with this time last year, with the Croatian National Tourist Board confident that its objective of attracting 190,000 UK visitors by the end of the year will be achieved. With an increase in the number of operators set to feature Croatia for 2005, and an increase in flight capacity, visitor figures are expected to increase yet again next year. This year, according to the CNTB, the biggest growth has been in special interest holiday, with sailing and cultural and historical holidays in great demand.
